We are pleased to be exhibiting at stand 1 at the Health Facilities Scotland Conference in Crieff Hydro, Perthshire on 1st and 2nd November 2018. Gordon Pringle, Director at Heating Appliances & Spares Ltd will be demonstrating our innovative Risycor Continuous Corrosion Monitoring system at the conference on both Thursday & Friday 1st & 2nd November.
It is the intelligent sensor technology that tells you of developing corrosion in your heating / cooling systems.
Ostensibly our RisyCor uniform corrosion monitors use patented technology, similar to proximity switches, to measure mass loss of a 50 micron coupon of Iron every 20 minutes which is then algorithmically calculated across a 7 hour period to produce an annualised corrosion rate in micron metres per year.
The conference will bring together a variety of speakers and delegates from across the country to share their knowledge and experience on a variety of topics and is aimed at Estates and Facilities professionals across the health and social care sector.
Health Facilities Scotland (HFS), is also hosting an Awards Ceremony during the conference on the Thursday evening.
The following awards categories are intended to encourage and acknowledge professional excellence across the wide range of topics covered by Facilities staff in NHS Scotland, which have lead to improved, lasting and replicable outcomes in healthcare provision for patients, local communities and staff:
- Sustainability Excellence Award
- Engineering and Energy Excellence Award
- Design Excellence Award
- Facilities Innovation Award
- In addition, an overall award will be selected by the judging panel from these entries and the successful individual or team will be presented with the Paul Taylor award.
