Remember, Remember the 5th of November, 2nd day of the #BESAConf2020!
The Centre for Digital Built Britain and the Construction Innovation Hub revealed four scenarios of what Britain could look like in 2040, depending on the decisions we make now. Four possible scenarios provided us with an insight into how we can, by taking swift and decisive actions, not only aid the COVID-19 recovery, but also help develop a built environment that supports a flourishing future and reduces our negative impact on the global environment.
With over 60 speakers over 1000 delegates already registered on the 2nd November HASL were delighted to assist the narrative here by introducing us onto the session as a BESA Affiliate specialist distributor of the Risycor continuous corrosion monitor for heating & cooling systems. We talked about the use of our specific innovative digital solutions that can help improve building performance now with condition-based monitoring – and act as simple small stepping stone towards the bigger picture/2040 vision.
Part of this future is the creation of a National Digital Twin a key step in the digital transformation of the infrastructure and construction sectors.
