Radial Vane Swirl Diffusers

 Fixed radial vane swirl diffusers efficiently mix supply air with room air close to the diffuser. This greatly reduces draughts and are ideally suited to many commercial, industrial and residential applications.

A wide range of diffuser options are available, with nominal diameters from 63mm to 400mm. Smaller circular sizes are available with spring clips for direct installation into ceiling panels. Larger sizes can be supplied within a 594mm square tile replacement plate.

The diffuser margin can be supplied with a curved 'diffusion collar' to improve coanda effect or with a flush face to promote a more vertical distribution pattern. Additionally a range of matched plenums and spigot adapters are also available. 		 Image

High Performance Swirl Diffusers

 Image With a high free area, the WS400 and WR400 swirl diffuser range provides a cost effective alternative to more conventional ceiling diffusers, with the added benefit of swirl air distribution. They can also be used as an extraction terminal.

Three diameters of radial pattern are currently available:

500mm set within a 594mm square tile replacement plate or 600mm diameter circular plate.

350mm set within 394mm, 494mm and 594mm square plates or 448mm diameter circular plate.

250mm set within 294mm square plate.

Matched side and top entry plenums are available, with or without insulated lining and volume control dampers. Manufactured from powder coated steel, we believe this will become the 'standard' ceiling diffuser of the near future !

Radial Nozzele Swril Diffusers

 

The WT100 and WT500 range of swirl diffusers provide a highly adjustable delivery pattern by using reversible nozzles set within an adaptable circular array. An 'outward' swirl pattern maximises the coanda effect potential. Set to an 'inward' swirl pattern can increase the effectiveness of vertical distribution. Combinations of these settings can deliver outlet patterns biased towards one or two horizontal directions.

In addition to a range of matched plenums, the WA100 and WA500 series are available without nozzles as a matching extract terminals.

Sizes range from arrays of 10, 12, 20, 36 and 48 nozzles; within 294mm, 394mm, 494mm and 594mm square tile replacement plates. The WT500 range of circular diffusers is available in 12 nozzle and 36 nozzle versions.

Adjustable Swirl Diffusers

The WR300 swirl diffuser offers the greatest range of supply patterns - ideal for use at installation heights of up to 12 000mm or where variable outlet pattern adjustment is required. The swirl effect ensures that rapid air mixing is achieved, whilst the outer ring pattern can 'throw' air vertically to ensure warmed air reaches the occupied zone.

The diffuser is available in 250mm, 315mm, 400mm and 500mm nominal diameters, with manual or Belimo motor adjustment between horizontal and vertical outlet patterns.

The motorised version is ideal for variable temperature systems, with the diffuser providing a constant pressure drop at all settings. The manual version has a handle and quadrant plate for adjustment in systems where a seasonal cooling-warming 'changeover' takes place.
