Dehumidifiers
Enhanced Performance Using Heat Pipes
Heat pipe technology extracts more moisture – and saves money
Performance, compactness, and energy-efficiency come from the use of heat-pipe technology to improve moisture removal without increasing energy consumption. The benefits are wide-ranging:
MD Dehumidifiers
Extract Up To 200 Litres of Moisture a Day
Humidity encourages bio-agents, destroys products, and makes life unpleasant for the people who live and work in that environment. A portable dehumidifier gets to grips with the problem immediately.
MD Dehumidifiers are suitable for use in hotels, warehouses, hospitals, offices, factories, restaurants, indoor pools, and plant rooms. Even air-conditioned buildings can suffer from humidity problems.
With three sizes to choose from, you'll find an MD Dehumidifier that's equal to any environmental challenge you can throw at it.
MD 100
Ultra-Compact, Power Portable
MD 160
Mid-range workhorse
MD 200
Maximum extraction power
Improved Efficiency With Heat Pipe Technology
The MD range of dehumidifiers combines sound engineering with revolutionary heat pipe technology. Patented heat pipes increase the efficiency of MD Dehumidifiers by precooling the air before it reaches the cooling coil, and then reheating it afterwards. As a result, the cooling coil can extract more moisture for the same energy consumption, while the heat pipes consume no energy whatsoever.
But it's not just heat pipes that make MD Dehumidifiers such thirsty extractors of airborne moisture. SPC has built a reputation based on the efficiency of its coils and the power and reliability of its fans. Heating and cooling large volumes of air is what SPC does best.
The MD Dehumidifier contains a closed refrigeration system (cooling evaporator coil, condenser coil, and compressor). A two-speed fan draws air in through a filter, passes it across the evaporator, then discharges it through the condenser. Condensate is removed by gravity feed or by an integral pump.
