HASL will be exhibiting along with Spirotech at the 2011 AUE Conference which is scheduled to take place at the historic University of Edinburgh on: 7, 8 and 9 September 2011.

In it's 41st year the conference will continue with the theme adopted last year by looking at 'Engineering the Old and New'. This looks into the implications of issues faced by all of the AUE members with regards to future proofing buildings facilities, updating and rejuvenating older ones.

It is looking like it is going to be the busiest conference yet; with the exhibition space oversubscribed and the call for presentation papers has resulted in an unprecedented response. The needs and challenges presented by buildings have changed dramatically over the years making the job of today that much more diverse. From this the conference will consider our continuing management of buildings as they get older and look to the challenges set by the modification of buildings.

The benefits of attending the conference are considerable; here are some of the reasons:

  • By providing CPD to members, you not only improve and broaden your knowledge but also further develop your professional competence.
  • Gain insight into management techniques, team dynamics and persuasive presentation skills from internationally acclaimed speakers.
  • Networking with colleagues helps create a Knowledge Transfer Network, whereby insights can be offered into each other's challenges.
  • Develop contacts with suppliers relevant to your requirements.- Pick up ideas on how to  generally improve our Higher Education environments.

Information for delgates is now available, along with a draft programme and booking forms.  To preview the exhibitor's attending please click here.
