Window control products offered by HASL: Smoke evacuation systems The evacuation of smoke from escape stairs and lobbies is a well established and valuable addition to the life safety systems of residential and commercial buildings. Casement windows provide an efficient and cost effective method of meeting the requirements with minimal visual impact. With the recent introduction of EN 12101, we have ensured our compliance by sourcing the latest and most rigorously tested actuators and control panels to meet the new tougher regulations. Natural ventilation systems With an increased awareness of the cost and environmental impacts of energy use, natural ventilation has become an increasingly attractive method for reducing these costs whilst also providing a healthy, comfortable, and productive indoor climate. Utilised correctly, natural ventilation can be used as an alternative to air-conditioning units, providing up to 30% reduction in running costs. LONworks compatibility HASL along with Wm Brown & Co. have introduced a new generation of control panels and actuators to the Scottish market with LONworks compatibility built in. This allows seamless integration with the Building Management System whilst still incorporating all of the smoke ventilation functions of previous controllers. The result is a fully integrated smoke and natural ventilation system, fully programmable to the needs of the buildings users whilst maintaining the optimum indoor air temperature and quality.
