BBS rooflights are exceptionally well insulated to comply with the latest building regulations in terms of both glazing materials and supporting bases and upstands. The intention is to maximise heat retention in the building and reduce the need for carbon emitting heat sources.
Direct sunlight shining through rooflights is an excellent source of free heat to the building, and an eco-friendly way to achieve energy-free and running cost free lighting.
