In order to ensure that each apartment or dwelling is responsible for its own energy consumption ICI Caldaie are introducing a full range of metering devices which will replace the conventional domestic boiler in such schemes. The heat meters will be available for installation either internally in the apartments or on an external wall in a purpose built enclosure allowing meter readings without entrance to an apartment.

Alternatively, units can be monitored off site using state of the art technology to remotely read consumption; this facility can be combined with a billing system according to the requirements of the local authority or housing association.
