HASL together with Wm Brown can offer a complete design, installation and commissioning service and will undertake the regular maintenance of all Wm Brown & Co. installations to ensure their continued compliance with the current building regulations. With the recent introduction of EN1201, we have ensured our compliance sourcing the latest and most rigorously tested actuators and control panels to meet the new tougher regulations.

With an increased awareness of the cost and environmental impacts of energy use, natural ventilation has become an increasingly attractive method for reducing these costs whilst also providing acceptable indoor environmental quality. This helps maintain a healthy comfortable and productive indoor climate.

Utilised correctly, natural ventilation can be used as an alternative to air-conditioning units, returning up to a 30% reduction in running costs. HASL together with Wm Brown & Co. have introduced a new generation of control panels and actuators to the Scottish market with LONworks compatibility built in. This allows seamless integration with the Building Management System whilst incorporating all of the smoke ventilation functions of the previous controllers. The result is a fully integrated smoke and natural ventilation system, fully programmable to the needs of the buildings users and maintaining the optimum indoor air temperature and quality.
