|
|
|
Belgravia Breeze units comprise of a range of heaters and coolers that are designed to be fitted through a building’s external walls. Typical applications include: schools, offices and hospitals although any space with a requirement for controlled natural ventilation benefits from their inclusion.
The units incorporate sturdy external louvers with the option of bird and insect guards, adjustable damper blades to control the ventilation rate, low resistance heating or combined heating/cooling coils plus a decorative interior grille to enhance the visual effect.
FEATURES
- Combined heater/ventilator unit with adjustable damper operation.
- Direct heating of outside ventilation air.
- Heating and Cooling version available to provide direct summer cooling of ventilation air should chilled water be available.
- Electrically or manually operated damper blades.
- High efficiency external weather louvres with option of bird guards and/or insect screens.
- Insulated dampers standard for noise reduction and airtight seal.
- Curved decorative interior grille easily removable for maintenance. Can be insulated to lower surface temperatures.
- Angled coil allows room heating with dampers closed.
- Units available for both wall and window installation.
- Standard range of popular sizes; others available on request.
BENEFITS
- Heat is provided at source to preheat cold ventilation air: The ventilation air can be heated above the space temperature to offset both ventilation heat load and any fabric losses.
- The units assists designers in complying with BB101 (Ventilation of School buildings) by achieving minimum and design ventilation rates.
- Damper blades constructed from specially ‘extruded’ aluminium construction insulated to maximise noise reduction with airtight seals to minimise closed heat losses.
- Damper can be supplied for manual operation or c/w electric actuator. Electric dampers can be controlled locally by thermostat or carbon dioxide sensor etc or can be incorporated into a building wide ventilation management system (BMS).
- Angled heating coil and perforated internal grille allow the units to be used as pure space heaters when the dampers are closed. This is invaluable during warm-up periods when there is little or no occupancy.
- Insulated, decorative interior grille complies with regulations regarding LST.
