Radiant Ceiling Panels - The simplest and most efficient way to heat a room from above
|
SPC HAVE BEEN ACCREDDITED THE BS EN14037 STANDARD FOR THEIR THERMATILE PLUS RADIANT PANELS.
Having been tested by WSP Lab in Stuttgart Germany, SPC's ThermaTile Plus Radiant Panels are the first accreditted radiant panel supplied by a UK owned manufacturer.
Radiant heating is a system that’s virtually invisible, that’s easy to install, and which takes up absolutely no floor or wall space sounds too good to be true. If you could add energy efficiency to the list of benefits, it would be irresistible.
That irresistible system is here right now. It contains no moving parts, and it drops straight into your existing suspended ceiling, or below the ceiling as a sail, giving a stylish solution.
SPC's Thermatile Plus Radiant Ceiling Panels heat people first, without losing initial energy to warm up the surrounding air - this is indirectly heated by objects and surface areas made warm by the radiant heat from the radiant ceiling panels. In today's "GREEN" world, we can help to reduce energy consumption by around 5% for every degree in reduction of air temperature over a conventional system. SPC's Thermatile Plus radiant ceiling panels can help achieve this.

By making the temperature differential between the floor and ceiling very small, overheating of the surrounding air is minimised and therfore the comfort of the room inhabitants is improved. Conventional systems will use considerably higher energy levels in those buildings which have higher ceiling heights. Radiant ceiling panels have another bonus, there is no forced air movement, so no draughts are felt.
Still not convined? - Take a step outside on a cold, but sunny day and you will feel warmed by the sun's rays whilst the air temperature is still cold, this is radiant heating!!!
